SYMBIONT

Symbiont is a textile installation combining scraps of previous projects woven together with elements of clothing, ropes, mesh and thread. The materials meet in knots and patterns, in some places reminiscent of a net(work), in others an organic membrane, creating a sensory experience.

The various elements constituting the installation are picked and combined in a microcosm (the gallery Ilali), growing together under the influence of their surroundings, like entities living in symbiosis with each other.

Symbiont was exhibited at Ilali Studio, Berlin, as part of the exhibition Osmosis by artist collective Antropical.
