SOFT PLAY
SOFT PLAY is a choreography for public space presented first in Tromsø, Norway, in 2021. It examines how power dynamics, dominance and verticality are manifested in the social sphere. The piece draws inspiration from Augusto Boal's Theatre of the Oppressed and from a number of other social situations such as martial arts, children's games, cultural gatherings, and real-life events - recent protests, political struggles and police control.
